2nd Annual Scarecrow Contest - voting until Oct. 6th!!!

The Scarecrows are making their presence throughout the Belleve businesses!   It's fall, time for fun and festivities!  The 2nd Annual Scarecrow Contest is here and we invite everyone to see the 22 scarecrows you surely do not want to miss!  It's definitely fun for all ages to enjoy.  Stop and get your pictures taken with your favorite scarecrow for a fall family photo, girls day out or how about an engagement photo?   This contest winner will be determined by popular vote and a tiny bit of money…and in the end everyone in Bellevue wins.   Read the next page for businesses participating and details and support these Bellevue businesses.

April 6th "Caring for Family Heirlooms" Program - Free

Do you have old family photos you want to store correctly? Great-grandmother's quilt? Grandfather's watch? Wedding or birth certificates of ancestors?  The Bellevue Historical Society is partnering with the Bellevue Public Library to present a program on "Caring for Family Heirlooms" on Thursday, April 6, at 6:00 in the meeting room of the Bellevue Public Library.  Free to attend.

Bellevue Annual Zombie Walk - Sept 24, 2016

Myth and metaphor play an important role in constructing our culture and creating purpose in our lives. On September 24th the residents of Bellevue and surrounding areas will find their way here either in full zombie gear or ready to be painted to look like a zombie at Gilberts Place downtown Bellevue. This event sponsored by Shop Bellevue is to help with donations to benefit "Bellevue Winterize Our Kids" program.
