Spring Craft & Vendor Fair (Blue Star Mothers of America)

Date: Sat. 24 Mar, 2018 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Duration: 6 Hours

Dear Vendor,

We are writing to you on behalf of the local chapter of Blue Star Mothers, Inc. , Lake Erie Shores Chapter 21. Nationally, we are a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization comprised of mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers, and female legal guardians who have children serving in the military, guard or reserves, or children who are veterans. We proudly support each other our and our children while promoting patriotism. Our organization focuses on our mission at all times and will never forsake our troops, our veterans or the families of our Fallen Heroes.

We are writing to you in an effort to support our Fallen Heroes who are buried at the Ohio Veterans Home and are being honored at Christmastime through the Wreaths Across America project.  Each year, wreaths are placed on veterans’ graves at 1200+ participating locations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and national cemeteries on foreign soil. Our local Blue Star Mothers chapter is again leading the campaign to place wreaths on the graves at the Ohio Veterans Home this Christmas by enlisting the help of our community members. In 2017, 945 wreaths were placed. For those of you who helped us at our October Vendor and Craft Fair, we thank you for helping us come close to meeting our goal of 1,000 wreaths! We have decided to begin the campaign earlier this year, rather than later when things are so much busier in our lives!
On March 24, 2018, 9 a.m. through 3 p.m., our chapter will be holding a Vendor Fair at the VFW in Bellevue, Ohio with the proceeds from table rentals going directly, 100%, to support the Wreaths Across America campaign. Any proceeds earned by the vendors will be their own profits and do not go toward the Wreaths Across America campaign. Table rentals are $25 for a 6-foot table space. Enclosed are an Application and Contract as well as Rules and Regulations.  We will need to hear from you by February 24th . We hope you will consider joining us in this effort and we hope this will be beneficial to you as well!

Thank you for your consideration!
Barb Cook
