Meeting Minutes

Sept. 26, 2016

Shop Bellevue Ohio met at Long Way Home Restaurant at 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016.
ATTENDING:  LeRose Meadows, Keith Jesse, Janell and Paul Davenport, Jeannie Gore, Rob Moore, Tom Long, Judy Miller.

LeRose opened the meeting.  Fall decorations were installed downtown on Saturday morning. Many thanks to the Attica Hub and Perry's Plantation, for donating the materials; and to Rob Moore, Paul Davenport, Alicia Robles, Keith Jesse, and John Miller for helping with the installation.  Scarecrows are up around town as well; see the complete list on the website or Facebook.

The Zombie Walk went off well, with over 20 participants.  The children loved getting made up at Gilbert's Place, and loved showing it off; Mike Mazzaro & Nick led the walk; Bellevue Police Auxiliary helped with traffic along the parade route; donations helped the 'Winterize our Kids program.  Thank you to the Mazzaro Family for all their efforts. Picnic in the Park had fewer attendees. Firemen grilled hotdogs, Rob Moore made baked beans, Keith Jesse donated watermelons, and Senior Girl Scouts helped serve, and with signs to encourage people to stop.  Thank you to all who helped and donated.
Discussion was held on whether to continue with the Walk.  It was a smaller crowd, but there was a lot going on.  Keith will ask his co-worker if he's interested in chairing an event next year.  Jeannie would like a photo of presentation to clothing closet to post.

Rob Moore volunteered to help as photographer for events.  Tom Long volunteered his daughter, Amy, to help as well.

NICKLE PLATE RAILROAD CONVENTION EVENT,October 15th.  Shop Bellevue has agreed to host an event to entertain spouses, and event is just a couple of weeks away.
