Comments have been very positive with the local people.   The Asset Group (Kathy Rosier) volunteered to take cornstalks down week of November 13th after school.  Nancy Rowe’s husband offered his truck to haul cornstalks away. The Asset Group will meet at Candy Depot before removing the cornstalks.  Currently looking into using the City Compost and Mayor Strecker will be contacted.
LeRose mentioned people are requesting that Christmas light be wrapped around the downtown lamp posts when the cornstalks are removed to begin the holiday season.   Judy and LeRose asked about the Shop Bellevue Ohio group funding the lights.  It was also mentioned that all the different groups in Bellevue could come together and donate monies for the lights.  The City Department or the mayor will be contacted to see if the lights even possible. Liz Kile at The Golden Acorn shared with us how extremely busy it gets that day and encouraged everyone to get involved with their businesses and enjoy the festivities.
